Recently, Chen Dan, Deputy Director of the China National Intellectual Property Administration of China, was invited to lead a delegation to Mexico and Costa Rica for a working visit.

During the visit, Chen Dan held talks with the Mexican Industrial Property Office and the Costa Rican Intellectual Property Registration Office respectively, discussing in-depth topics such as the latest progress of their work, capacity building, intellectual property public services, and literature exchange and cooperation. He signed meeting minutes with the Colombian side and reached an agreement on meeting minutes with the Mexican side.

During their stay abroad, the delegation also visited our embassies in both countries and was invited to exchange ideas with the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation of Mexico, the National High tech Center of Costa Rica, and three innovation laboratories. They also had discussions with Chinese funded enterprises in Mexico to understand the intellectual property protection situation and demands of Chinese overseas enterprises.
