Recently, Shen Changyu, Director of the China National Intellectual Property Administration of China, met in Beijing with Yan Ci, President of the European Chamber of Commerce of China, and enterprise representatives.
Shen Changyu pointed out that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Europe, and the leaders of both sides have reached important consensus on deepening China Europe relations, providing strategic guidance for deepening cooperation between the two sides. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights. The China National Intellectual Property Administration of China has always insisted on strictly protecting the intellectual property rights of domestic and foreign enterprises in accordance with the law, achieving equal treatment and protection, and striving to create a fair competition market environment for enterprises and innovation entities in all countries, including the European Union. In the future, China's China National Intellectual Property Administration will continue to maintain communication with foreign-funded enterprises with a positive and open attitude, continue to optimize services, and provide more powerful support for promoting international innovation cooperation and economic and trade exchanges.
Yan Ci stated that in recent years, China's intellectual property work has achieved remarkable results, the protection system has become increasingly mature, and the business environment has been continuously optimized, effectively stimulating the innovation vitality of enterprises. The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China, and continue to encourage member enterprises to strengthen their confidence, deepen their cultivation in China, and invest in China.
The heads of relevant departments of the bureau exchanged views with representatives of companies such as Bayer, Nokia, and LVMH on relevant issues.
